Like many notable businesses, Hammerton had its beginnings in a garage. The founders of the company, Levi Wilson and Steve Young--both young men at the time were full of vision and confidence for the company they could build. Between Levi's artistic and fabrication talents, and Steve's natural sales and marketing skills, they quickly established a successful company in the high-end lighting business. One of the first companies to combine old-world artisan techniques with modern design and manufacturing capabilities, Hammerton's products were not only unique and beautifully crafted, but also perfectly proportioned and meticulously built to meet customer requirements and architectural specifications. After three moves and multiple remodels, the company is now bursting at the seams and employs over 70 people.
